The Amsterdam Esters Plant started up in 1995. This state of the art plant
produces a wide range of synthetic components, called esters, for the
production of synthetic lubricants and hydraulic oils.
ExxonMobil is one of the largest producers of esters in the world. The
products are of particularly high quality thanks to the experience acquired
during many years of development and production. The Amsterdam Esters Plant
received ISO-9002 certification in 1997.
