In 2007, ExxonMobil’s production from OBO fields was around 307,000 barrels of oil equivalents per day.
In total, the company has ownership interests in more than 20 producing fields on the Norwegian continental shelf, and furthermore the company participates in new, major development projects which started up in 2007, including Ormen Lange, Statfjord Late Life, and Njord Gas Export. ExxonMobil has substantial equity in the Volve field, which started up production in February 2008, as well as the Tyrihans field, which is under development and due for startup in 2009.
