Nor-Shipping IMO 2020 decision roundtable debate findings

The decision to introduce a 0.5% global sulphur cap in 2020 marked the beginning of a significant period of transition for the world's shipping industry.
While the International Maritime Organization (IMO) decision brought certainty with a firm regulatory deadline, it also generated a surplus of questions around the manner and means of its implementation.
ExxonMobil and Bunkerspot brought together a number of shipping industry experts at a closed roundtable discussion at Nor-Shipping in June to debate the key issues associated to the 2020 decision. The comments expressed contributed to a thought-provoking and illuminating debate.
