Michael Douglass has worked for ExxonMobil since 2001. His ExxonMobil experience has all been in and around lubricants. A majority of his time has been spent in Aviation Lubricants, first focused on jet oils and then expanding into hydraulic oils as well. He also has an in-depth knowledge of Intellectual Property, and how patents can protect our proprietary technology.
Douglass started with a BS in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and then earned a Chemistry PhD at Northwestern. He enjoys applying his knowledge of chemistry to improve real world products, whether that makes them more economical, more environmentally friendly, or better-performing.
