ExxonMobil’s Tom Kim

Tom Kim

Aviation Area Manager

Tom Kim has more than 30 years’ experience in a variety of roles at ExxonMobil, serving as the primary liaison between ExxonMobil and commercial airline customers since 2010. In this role as Aviation Area Manager, Kim provides products and services to customers, working closely with the engineering teams of commercial airlines to help them optimize their reliability.

Kim received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from University of the Pacific. He later earned an MBA from the University of Southern California with the intent of getting into corporate finance, but decided to stick with engineering. However, he still utilizes the knowledge he gleaned while studying finance in his work today – specifically, it enables him to translate ExxonMobil’s offerings into bottom-line value for customers.
