As part of the EHC™ Base Stock Slate, our EHC™ 45 and EHC™ 65 products deliver superior oxidative stability and low-temperature performance, helping you meet the evolving engine specification requirements in the lubricants industry.

With base oil interchange and viscosity-grade read-across capabilities, our EHC™ 45 and EHC™ 65 products offer increased flexibility, broad blend coverage and simplified qualification testing.

The EHC™ 45 base stock is designed for blending 5W and heavier passenger car motor oils and can serve as a co-base to cost-optimize 0W formulations, while the EHC™ 65 base stock is ideal for heavy-duty engine oils and can optimize 15W-40 blending. Together, they enable important emerging grades, such as heavy-duty 10W-30.


Uses of EHC™ 45/65
