Together, they are designed to cover most API, ACEA and industrial lubricants. They can formulate 10W heavy duty engine oils without Group III corrector stocks and reduce the amount of Group III base stocks required for 5W and dexos® lubricants. With our EHC™ 50 and EHC™ 110 base stocks, your business can achieve enhanced lubricant performance in a wide range of temperatures and operating conditions.
Excellent Resistance to Oxidation
Base oil made of ExxonMobil EHC™ Group II/II+ base stock blends showed comparable oxidative stability to base oils made of EHC and Group III blends. Owing to the demonstrated stability of the EHC molecules, you can be confident that lubricants formulated with only EHC base stocks are as robust as lubricants formulated with a Group II/ Group III blend.

Passenger car motor oil (PCMO): EHC™ 50 and EHC™ 120 base stock usage can enable dexos®-quality 5-W30 PCMO, with the potential to reduce Group III base stock by up to 50%.

Heavy duty engine oil (HDEO): EHC™ 50 and EHC™ 120 base stock usage can enable competitive 10W-40 HDEO without any Group III products and with superior cold cranking simulator capabilities.
