Welcome to the second edition of Voyager this year.

On the last leg of our journey to 2020, we’re aiming to provide you with as much insight and guidance as we can to ensure you’re ready for the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) global sulphur cap, from 1 January 2020. 

As such, in this issue of Voyager, we launch both fuels and lubricant products to help our customers prepare for the upcoming deadline, including our 0.50 percent sulphur fuels range, EMF.5™ and new 20 BN four-stroke engine oil, Mobilgard™ M420. We also share key takeaways from our ‘Journey to 2020’ webinar, chaired by IBIA Director, Unni Einemo and we reflect on insights gathered from our latest Nor-Shipping roundtable.

In addition, we’re pleased to show the third and fourth editions of our ‘Talking Points’ video series. In the third video we shared strategic moves with Alan Lim, Deputy Director (Marine Services) at the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, in a game of chess. In the fourth video, Luca Volta and Steve Walker quizzed WinGD’s CEO Klaus Heim and the company’s VP of R&D, Dominik Schneiter, over a game of shuffleboard.
