Grease Technology Manager, Retired

Gary Dudley has 23 years of experience with ExxonMobil, all of it within the area of lubricants technology. He has held technical leadership roles in synthetic base stocks, aviation turbine oils, industrial lubricants and greases. Since 2014, he has served as the Global Grease Technology Manager, providing technical support to ExxonMobil’s customers and strategic guidance to our internal technical grease programs and grease product offerings.

Dudley received his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from The College of Wooster. He then received his Ph.D. in chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996. He was a recipient of the 2016 Thomas A. Edison Patent Award, R&D Council of New Jersey for his work on synthetic base stocks and has been in interested in chemistry since his early childhood.
